"This License" refers to version 1 of the LibreSilicon Public Licence.

1. 1. 1. 1.2.

"The Program" refers to any copyrightable work licensed under this License. Each licensee is addressed as "you". "Licensees" and "recipients" may be individuals or organizations.

"Source form" means the preferred form for making modifications, including but not limited to software source code, documentation source, and configuration files.

1.4. "Object form" means any form resulting from mechanical transformation or translation of a Source form, including but not limited to compiled object code, generated documentation, and conversions to other media types.

1.5. "Work" refers to the Program or any portion of it, and includes any work that is distributed or published, in whole or in part, under the terms of this License.

1.6. "Use" refers to the act of running the Program or any portion of it, or of linking the Program with a Dynamically linked library.

1.11. "HDL code" refers to Hardware Description Language, a specialized programming language used to describe the behavior and structure of digital and mixed-signal systems

2. Copying and distribution

2.1. You may copy and distribute verbatim copies of the Program's source code as you receive it, in any medium, provided that you conspicuously and appropriately publish on each copy an appropriate copyright notice and disclaimer of warranty; keep intact all the notices that refer to this License and to the absence of any warranty; and give any other recipients of the Program a copy of this License along with the Program.

2.2. You may charge a fee for the physical act of transferring a copy, and you may at your option offer warranty protection in exchange for a fee.
